WHAT: A ceremony to unveil a new sign designating a 4-mile stretch of state Route 183 in front of the Reading Regional Airport in Berks County as the Trooper Wayne C. Ebert Memorial Highway. Ebert was killed on June 7, 1978, while directing traffic at the Reading air show. While performing his duties on Route 183, Ebert was struck and killed by a pickup truck.
HARRISBURG – After the state House today fell short in its effort to override the governor’s veto of a bill that would have empowered local officials to determine policies and procedures for students to participate in and families to attend school sports and extracurricular activities, state Rep.
