FREE Paper Shredding Event

Saturday, Oct. 10, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.* at our district office
Reading Regional Airport, 2501 Bernville Road, Reading

The event, which will feature an on-site industrial paper shredder, will provide the opportunity for households to shred up to four boxes of materials. Boxes should be no bigger than a file-size box or bag. The boxes will be returned to residents; the shredding company will not keep or shred boxes.

Each person will be permitted to shred no more than four boxes of materials. No metal – including paper clips, binder clips or spiral notebooks – can be shredded.

Social Distancing Policy: For the health and safety of everyone involved, participants are asked to remain in their vehicles and staff will remove their documents for them and return their boxes or bags.

Sponsored by: Representative Barry Jozwiak, Tompkins VIST Bank and Wiggin Shredding.

*The event may end early if the shredder reaches its capacity prior to 12 p.m. The best way to ensure your materials will be shredded is to get there early. If the shredder reaches its capacity, we may have to turn away participants.
