BETHEL TOWNSHIP – State Rep. Barry Jozwiak (R-Berks) and state Sen. David Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks) today issued the following statements after Gov. Tom Wolf announced a major investment through the state’s Redevelopment Capital Assistance Program in the West Run Business Park in Bethel Township:
“This is an investment in the economic growth of our region,” Jozwiak said. “The money the state is investing today will build the foundation for job creation and economic expansion in the future. I’m pleased the governor supports this important project in our region. This is an example of the progress we can make when public officials, at various levels of government, all work together to achieve a common goal. This project will empower more local workers to obtain family-sustaining jobs with good benefits.”
“This grant and this project are aimed at jumpstarting job growth in our region,” Argall said. “The Commonwealth is working with local officials to help move forward with this project. We know there are proper and improper locations for this type of project, and after working with local stakeholders to ensure a proper fit, this location seems to make sense for a variety of reasons. I’m really excited for the local workers who will have the opportunity to benefit from these new jobs.”
